seems like outside if north america, castrol is very popular. are they any good in conventional form. ilike to pick up some of their sludge protection oil.

I always liked Castrol reg oil, I hear say its thicker than most.
My Honda dealer uses it in bulk, good oil. But is there really a bad oil out there? I USE 0w30 very happy with it.

back in japan, singapore is the way to go for all application; tractor, car, truck, bus, van, motorcycle, and even bicycle chain.

What is this thread about? Just curious.

GTX is a great conventional oil. When I run conventional oil( rare these days admittedly )it is what I choose. I actually will be doing an OC in the new vehicle early next week at 1K to swap out the factory fill oil. I will use GTX( have it already ). At 5K I will then swap to Royal Purple from that point on.
