Datamaster is my favorite, and did you know the cable it uses to connect to the car can be used to reflash the pcm? If you haven't had the car reprogrammed yet I highly suggest it, you will swear it is a new car.

Sometime this year I plan on taking my car in to ARE and have a dyno tune done. I've heard that 10-15rwhp is possible on bone stock cars with a good custom tune! And I definitely want them to reprogram my fans so they come on sooner, as the second one doesn't come on until 227F so my coolant temps get pretty hot in traffic unless I've got the AC compressor going.

I believe the b-bodies secondary fan came on even higher than that, I know the primary was at 224* even keeping the stock 180* stat that number can be dropped 20degrees.

Really though a dyno tune seems a bit much for a stock car so get some mods beforehand

. I would imagine the f-body was better optomized from the factory than was the Caprice/Impala, but I know for the b-bodies guys see as much as 20hp at the tires with just a reprogram, so the numbers you are hoping for definetely seem possible. The changes in drivability with different shift points and lockup points feel as good as the extra power. Careful though this is a slippery slope, I bought my car 4 years ago, two years ago my car was basically stock with the 4.3L V8(L99), as of today I have rebuilt or replaced the whole drivetrain including a mildly cammed LT1.

The f-body is actually not all that well tuned from the factory, and the shop I'll be getting it done at has been able to get as much as 15rwhp from completely bone stock LT1s! I don't expect that much from mine though, since mine already runs much stronger than most other LT1 f-bodies. Bone stock it ran a 13.74 at 100mph, with not a single mod! And almost 100k on it at the time too.
