I don't see it on the phone and thought it automatically shows up after downloading the app. The app is downloaded because when I try to download again, it says it's installed.
Do you know how to access the App Drawer? If it's a Samsung device, swiping up should access the app drawer and from there you can long press on the app you want to move it to the main screen.
Go to your home screen then scroll up to get to the apps page like the pic I posted. Then hold your finger on the app a couple of seconds then without lifting your finger slide it to where you want ut.

not really, iOS has an app drawer as well now and it doesn't put newly installed apps on the home screen if you have the app drawer enabled. They probably call it something different though.
