A knowledgeable member at a Buickforum told me of a TSB that explains how to fix my 97 Park Ave's moaning power steering. It needs a larger diameter and longer PSF inlet hose as explained in Buick/GM TSB 99-02-32-007A. That was a problem for 97-01 Park Ave that GM fixed for 02-05 Park Ave. The solution is to install an 02-05 model year hose on my 97. So that's soon to be fixed.

That same person also told me they're many other TSBs for 97 & 98 Park Avenue's. She said they're mostly TSBs about flash codes tl update my transmission so it'd work better.

Unfortuneately, that Buickforum member didn't tell me what those other TSB numbers are, nor how to find them. The Buickforum is a very slow paced, low activity, forum. I've been waiting days for advice on this and no replies from anyone. I think the members there only login in briefly once a week or less. I may never get an answer from Buickforum.

BITOG is an active forum that moves at a fast pace. So I'm asking here. How can I get a list of all TSBs for my 97 Buick Park Ave?

I found my answer through self help and posted it in post 2 below. You can use the info in post #2 to find all the TSBs for any car for free.

I answered my own question via self help. After several Google searches I found the full lists of technical service bulletin(s) (TSB)s for my car provided to me for free here. https://m.carcomplaints.com/Buick/Park_Avenue/1997/tsbs/

I think car https://carcomplaints.com provides a list of TSB #s (for free) for all models of cars. It's free for my car. Very cool.

It doesn't provide the TSBs full documents/pages, at least not in my case, but it does provide me the number of each TSB for my car and a brief description of what it fixes. Then I can search Google for each TSB # to obtain the full TSB document with text, diagrams, & part #s.

Carcomplaints.com also says local car dealerships will print out a specific TSB on request if I give them the TSB #, but I see no reason to bother the dealership if I can find the full TSB document via Google search, which I can (at least for most TSBs).

There are 73 TSBs for my car. I'll look up the ones for things that I have problems with and care about. I'll ignore the rest.

I'd say when doing any kind of search Google is out the window now. Something like Chatgpt is much much better to search with. And if its not doing the correct search you want just keep pestering it for the right one.

I'm not using the Google AI results. I don't trust AI. I ignore it and use car maintenance websites with info posted by humans. I'm pretty good at using Google in old school (pre AI) ways
