Seems like a fair review, pretty complete, 20 minute long video.
Pretty strange for those (at the time) who may have wanted to sell their Cybertruck before 1 years time.
I dont think anyone posted in here about this yet.

In case you missed it, the video is more than eight months old. Gotta consider the time line.
Yes, I figured out I saw it before after the time to edit was gone, anyway, seems like others might have missed it and still worthy of todays news maybe? Since we talk of Fords truck failures.

The Beetle and PT Cruiser had a pretty long run. Odd that you'd group them with the CT.

Both were selling for $10k over sticker when they first launched (can you imagine) and after a year or two no one wanted them. Most built after went to rental car fleets. Happening now with the ID.Buzz, 2 years from now they'll be offering deep incentives, today they have $25k markups on them.

The local Dodge house used the PT as loaners for years since they weren't selling.

I considered walking the 50 miles vs driving one of those home.

If this is the old video of him selling it(I watch all his videos when they come out) I think I remember it being a situation where he saw the writing on the wall for losses on these things and got out of it clean. He does document well the issues he's had with it. The washer fluid draining into the electronics area is a seriously weird issue that likely won't end well long term. Even if he had happened to love the vehicle there was really no good reason to not get out of it when it was possible to beat the losses.

Neighbor bought one and was all proud about it.
Was all I could do to listen to him ramble about the features and not blurt out it was an ugly POS 🤣
My mom had a PT convertible. I did not like driving it with the top up but.. opened up, it was pleasant. I drove it through the Rockies with her one summer day, top open, and it was a really fun drive.

Not saying it was a “good” car but it had some nice moments under the right circumstances.

It was just a Look At Me fad that sizzled out in 2 years.
It's even worse than that. Tesla service centers were told not to buy or take Cybertrucks on trade. It makes you wonder if the company that built them doesn't want them. A December 24 article stated that Tesla has 9,150 unsold Cybertrucks still sitting. Apparently the 2025 model is eligible for the 7,500 tax credit (not sure why). Then add it's the only vehicle that I can think of in recent memory that had seven recalls in 12 months! I'm beginning to wonder if Tesla ever had two million deposits like Musk claimed or did he make it up?
