honda oem oil filter info

"Just wanted to let you guys in on a little inside info.
If you're partial to the oem honda oil filter (p/n 15400-pt7-005, or 15400-p0h-305),
you'd better go to your local dealership and order a case. They're still available, but no longer being produced. As of now, they're superseded by the 15400-plm-a02 (smaller) new civic style.

Thanks Oilcanboyd. I found this out the hard way the other day when I went to the dealer to pick up some Filtechs, and he said they were no longer available. Looks like I am going to stick with the HAMP filters at $7 a piece. -Joe
