The bank tried to wrongly foreclose on their home, the owners won in court and the bank was ordered to pay legal fees. The bank never paid so the court foreclosed on the bank.
Quote:
According to reports, the Nyerges, their lawyer, two sheriff's deputies and moving company workers, went to a local Bank of America branch to take possession of furniture inside the bank to settle the debt. An hour later, the bank wrote a check for more than 5-grand to satisfy the original debt and additional costs and fees.

Saw that. I wish they had had just taken the computers from the bank, "Let's see, that computer's worth $500, we'll just take 10 of them. That should even up the debt." I would have like to see the bank manager's face THEN!

I've heard a lot of complaints concerning BofA. We've had our mortgage with them since '00. We haven't had any issues. They've always worked with us. We refinanced through them 2 years ago. It was a long, painful process, but it all ended well. I do not have any other accounts with them.
