PADUCAH - A local man has taken automotive innovation to a new level by crafting a Lamborghini entirely out of wood. The hand-carved masterpiece, painted a vibrant red, now proudly occupies a prime spot in front of his home.
“I always dreamed of owning a Lamborghini,” explained Billy Grubbs, 32. "But my budget said ‘sawdust’ instead of ‘supercar.’ So I found some old wooden pallets and started cutting them up to make this beauty.”
The wooden Lambo, complete with hand-painted details and faux leather seats, has become a neighborhood sensation. “It’s got all the style without the speed bumps,” said Grubbs.
His wife Heather is equally thrilled. “Billy’s creativity knows no bounds,” she said. “Who needs a real Lamborghini when you have a handcrafted one that doubles as garden furniture?”
Local car enthusiasts are left wondering if this is the future of high-end automotive design—or just a really cool piece of outdoor décor.
This is a developing story.

Not too long ago Tyler Hoover had a Kit car and real Lamborghini Countach and the kit was amazingly close. Supercar manufacturers don't like that. A company in Brazil had Ferrari Daytona and 250 GTO kits that were so close even experts had a tough time telling them apart. They have apparently been sued numerous times and seem to have disappeared.

I would think it would be pretty easy to make ones better now, than many of the original 70's and 80's super cars...

There are laws in the USA that stipulate no more than 70 percent Similar to the original. Not sure how all of the shelby cobra kits get around this.
