Home Depot for Auto Parts? Yes.

I've bought auto parts from HD, the parts I bought were the best price I could find and they shipped them free to my house. My loyalty is to my wallet, so any reputable company giving me the best price gets my $$.

I did buy Curt hitch items cheaper there, when normally price is identical on every website. As some have said, it pays to shop.

Order online...ship to home...return item to the nearest store if incorrect?
That ain't a bad service.
True. This isn’t the HD of 25 years ago, where you have a legit return and they refuse. What a weird time that was. I had an issue on a hedge trimmer and all I wanted to do was to exchange it and they refused to the store mgr level. Yes, email to corp Hotlanta and all good. Imagine they used to operate like that. Been all good over the last 10 years.

Sounds good, but so far they've come in second to Amazon for price. Usually its Amazon, Home Depot, Wally, Rock Auto for my needs. So it seems it's only a matter of time.

Lately I've been buying more and more of my auto parts on the home depot website.
Most of the time they have the same brand name parts for a LOT LESS than Autozone or even Amazon

Just wondering if anyone else has found this?

Did not see online yet. I did notice a while back that our local HD store has about a half and aisle of auto related products.
Very convenient if one does not feel like store hopping sometimes.

I purchased many parts for my 1966 c10 resto-mod from HD. Brake, starters, belt, sensors, mass airflow, water pump, hoses, brake lines, coils, spark plugs, plug wires, plus many more. I did have list of part numbers for each part. For each part I had several different mfg part numbers. Necessary because HD may only offer 1 of them from list. Also high performance MSD ignition parts, Koni shocks. They seem to have lowest prices on Wix & Baldwin filters. They drop ship. From mfg. so no old stock like RA. I even bought trailer tires for car trailer from HD, less than local. Plus HD gives military discount, don’t know of any auto parts supplier that does that. Any parts that needed to be returned I went online created return for carrier pickup.
Give HD a try for auto parts.

Ok it happened, was accumulating parts in my Amazon cart to get to the free shipping point when they sold my main item out from under me. Dumped the remaining items in my cart a proceeded directly to the HD site and ordered. Item should arrive next week.

Never done auto parts through HD but I do get my detailing microfiber towels from them. Does that count?

Lately Advance has had some great deals via their website on drop ship items. You can still use their codes even on drop ship.

First was an AFE brodozer air filter and most recently a Curt hitch for a square body. The hitch was about $100 less than anywhere else.

After reading this thread I thought I would give it a try. EGR Valve for a '94 Grand Marquis. No name from O'Reilly's, AAP and AZ was approximately $56.00. O'Reillys had the Motorcraft one for $202.99. Local dealer was $140, their online store was $90, and it was going to take a week either way., coming from Memphis ( I am in NH). HD had the same Motorcraft part, $57.38.
I'll definitely be doing that again.

Well, my HD attempt did not bear fruit. Took my order as if everything OK, but no ship, no follow up email. Logged on to find the dreaded BACKORDER. Whimpering back to Amazon, found my item back in stock. Unlike my previous Amazon attempt, order accepted. Hoping third time is a charm?
