Someone must have been doing some painting where I parked and my car is filled with lots of very tiny paint dots. But what bothers me is the paint dots on my windshield. They are about the size of a period - just a small dot but they bother me when I drive.

What is the best way to remove from windshield?

Steel wool works very well for removing concentrated overspray from glass, but since you describe it as dots a razorblade is indeed probably the most effective.

How much are you paying her?

Sorry. Couldn't resist.

I would say a WD-40 soaked razor blade, or acetone rag and razor blade on the glass.

I thought he was going to use a gardening implement, although it did seem like overkill.

Dampen a rag lightly with lacquer thinner and go for it. It won't hurt the glass, just be careful not to get it on the paint however I doubt it would be much of a problem with a finish that has been kept up. Deffinetly don't let it soak in the paint.

Thanks for the tips. I think I will go with acetone on a cloth for a start followed by razor.

BTW what is the best glass cleaner out there. Windex comes to mind but I read in another forum about one that comes in a aerosol can.

Stoner's aerosol glass spray is my favorite. I also like Sprayway foam spray and it smells really good.

I used throttle body cleaner. It works but isn't as lethal as lacquer thinner. Follow up with Stoners invisible glass and wipe dry with a microfiber towel then a coat of RainX. DON'T use metal of any sort on window glass unless you want to be polishing out the scratch marks.
