Folks ..you do know that history is going to refer to "us" ..with our attitudes about this, as being wrong. The victors get to write the history.

It will be given equal time with all the other social revolutions that we've endured. After a while ..a generation or two ...it becomes the truth.
 
integrated societies fail. The longest lived societies and countries limit immigration. That combined with the low reproduction of the founding culture compared to that of the imported labor spells the fall of Rome. In a generation or two the country will not exist as we know it. The truth is terribly politically incorrect but racial displacement and tolerance of such will change the face of the United states and as was posted above, the impact of the first 250 years of the nation will be rewritten by those who control it. It was a short ride.

If hating the people who break our laws, steal our tax dollars, demonstrate against us, refuse to integrate, turn our cities into slums, occupy the majority of our prison space, comprise the majority of drug dealers, and then have the audiacity to use our laws against us (when they are illegal)...........Yes I hate (explative) everyone of them with a passion.

I won't write down the thoughts on the punishment I would bestow on them (explatives).

Unfortunately, the President's plan for worker visas did not get accepted by both the parties. That would have been the most sane approach to this problem because we need these people to provide us with the lifestyle we have become accustomed to. The moment their labor is not needed, the illegal immigration will seize.

But it is unheard of for a non-citizen to sue someone. Non-citizens legally do not have rights in this country besides the internationally accepted human rights and anything else explicitly given to them.

First of all, if ANYONE, from any ethnicity and from any country wants to come here ***LEGALLY***, whether it be on a VISA or if they want to become an American and gain citizenship, then I encourage that.

Secondly, in this debate about illegal immigration, fraught with extraordinarily serious issues and consequences to this ***SOVEREIGN*** ***STATE*** that is the United States, if all you can say to your opponent is they are a bigot, then YOU LOST THE ARGUMENT.

You're wrong.

The fact is that anyone who has a greencard, that is a resident alien visa, has the same rights as any US Citizen with the exceptions that (1) they cannot legally vote, (2) they cannot be President, and (3) they cannot work in certain jobs that require one to be a US Citizen. Oh, and (4)they can be deported, usually as the result of comitting a crime.

They can sue, collect social security, welfare, etc. etc.

There is almost no advantage to becoming a US Citizen unless you want to vote. And funny--when I registered to vote, nobody cared to see my birth certificate. And the State Dept. doesn't consider voter registration cards any proof of US citizenship.
 
Not funny Brian, Sad. I really am begining to see little benefit in being a citizen middle class property owner in our country. Our rights are eroding and there is nothing special about our status as citizens. Why should we care enough to continue to support our institutions and taxing entities?

Speak for yourself. Most Europeans actually migrated legally. It is NOT bigoted for a country to expect controlled immigration. Those are just political scare tactic words....
 
It's funny in a sad way.

Oh, by the way, there IS something special about being a US citizen: The IRS will try to tax your earnings no matter where in the world you are. That's why there's a $500 penalty if you don't supply your SSN to the State Dept. when applying for a passport. The IRS wants to keep tabs on who might decide to leave.

No other citizens of any other countries that I'm aware of get such special treatment from their taxation authorities.
 
Reminds me of my old college days when I tried to get an emergency use credit card. I kept getting turned down. The sad part was that both my roommates (one from Greece and one from Romania here on student visas) had multiple cards.

WE NEED TO TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN before we take care of the illegals. I almost lost my lunch when I read about Mexico opposing the border fence and trying to drag the UN into it. What a joke. Hey! Take the hint! WE DON'T WANT ANYMORE OF YOU HERE ILLEGALLY!

I was rear-ended by a questionable (at best) legal citizen, who had minimum coverage. She destroyed my MB and caused a 4-car pileup. When I sued her personally for damages, her insurance company provided a lawyer to protect her every single time... I won every time, it was cut and dry in terms of fault, etc., but her insurance-supplied lawyer appealed each and every time.

WHat this means to me is that if you are being sued, I would first go to the legal office that is holding the suit and yell my head off at them (so long as theyre not recording, its their word against yours, right?), then have your insurance company provide a lawyer to protect your interests (which, if youre really at fault, which of course your not, the $$$ will come from your insurance company first).

Then file a complain with INS, file a complaint with the state bar against the lawyer for filing fraudulent lawsuits for an illegal alien, report this person to the police in a formal complaint of wrongdoing, and essentially make any other public servant that you can file a complaint with, miserable, utilizing your legal rights that you have as a citizen filing complaints and countersuits.

Id also suggest writing to the governor, local legislators and your federal congesspeople, explaining the problem. This does not do much, but it does offer some traction to the urgency of the issue, when enough people complain.

In federal service (Im a gov't employee), when one worker bee does something that takes advantage of the system and is wrong, guards must be put in place for all people, to make things fair and equal (supposedly). Well, Ill make things fair and equal - the border is closed. No LEGAL immigration for the next few years. Anyone that is here that should be will be immediately jailed, pending removal to their place f origin. All assets will be seized by the U.S. Government and returned to the general treasury.

Ive had it.
