High warm idle on E21

I did unplug the cold injector but it didn't seem to make a difference.

The car is running great, no skipping or misfires. Throttle is returning to the stop limit screw. No sound of a vacuum leak anywhere and the vacuum is rock steady.

Weird!, well if it weren't you would have found the problem by now; out of curiosity, Can you pinch the PCV valve hose? if it is stuck open it will let extra air and will make no sound, the brake booster check valve will do the same but will affect the 3rd. cyl. a lot more than the others.

I can pinch the PCV hose but it will take a few days for me to check. In the mean time I'm open to more things to check and ideas, brainstorming (from anyone with ideas).
