High Mileage Oil

I am the original owner of a 2003 Mustang V6 with 30K miles. Because of the limited amount of driving, I only change the oil
(Motorcraft 5W20 Synthetic Blend) once a year. I also use a MC oil filter.
Because of the car's age, would any of you recommend a high mileage oil, or continue with the MC? Thanks in advance
for any input or recommendations.

Do you have any leaks or oil consumption problems? If not, keep doing the same thing.

Keep using the Low Mileage oil since that's what the car has.

Only 30k miles? Nope. That's nowhere near high mileage; keep doing what you are doing and it will be good to go.

30,000 is low miles for a 2003, but the seals are still old.

I see no issue with running a High Mileage oil. Plus High Mileage oils are typically thicker.

Labels on high mileage oils always advertise "more anti wear" and "higher detergency". Does this mean they have a better and stronger ad pack vs their non high mileage siblings? Don't high mileage oils also have a higher tbn?

I would think the extra seal conditioners would be beneficial to a vehicle that doesn't see a lot of road time.

I have a 2004 vehicle; same story pretty much; low mileage, no leaks. I went ahead and filled it with Valvoline SynPower Maxlife this last OC and plan to keep using it. Even though I've always used high quality non-high mileage oils (which generally contain seal conditioners anyway), I felt less mileage over long periods of time equated to less oil moving around and optimal conditioning of the seals. I am starting to have to repair more things due to age more than use. Agree or not, I don't think it can't hurt.
