Unfortunately that is the JDM style now. purple hid headlights and yellow hid highbeams that they think are fog lights. Oh yes and the roof racks. Nothing like killing your MPG of your civic.

I installed aftermarket HID's into my 1996 Contour's low beams. The low beam factory set up was poor from day one. I've owned the car since new. The HID's offer a much better illumination of the road and no one has flashed their lights at me. I only have them in my low beam lights. My high beams are still the factory bulbs and are fine for added illumination. My HID's are 5,000K.
