HF rachet crimper

I have an Ancor double crimper which is great for the connectors that are "double crimp". But I also would like a good crimper for normal connectors. I want one with 3 different crimp sizes and a ratchet.

I have one that looks exactly like that. Bought it at Frys Electronics years ago. Works well and has held up. Not sure it is the same, but sure looks like it. Very strong and the ratcheting action is nice. I am sure I paid at least $20 back then.

I used to use that type of crimper when I worked at a wire house many years ago. They were the "real" crimpers from the manufactures of the terminations, though, and they worked well.

I'm not sure how good the HF version is.

Its worth a $10 try.

Oddly Ancor (which makes probably the best in marine connectors) has a great double crimp connector but for a single crimp, its an after thought on their wire stripper. I do not think having one crimp slot for all 3 size connectors is great, and having it between your hand and the pivot point is not good either.
