They're very inconsistent. Some last seemingly forever, some for a few uses and some are no-fire right out of the box. The factory plug is still in my kid's little ATV and that thing lights off and runs like a top. I'd like to think these plugs are getting better given the volume of Chondas flooding the market now with Tecumseh being kaput. The equipment manufacturers using these engines would be putting their names on the line for something as simple as a spark plug.

BONON F5TC is written in green on the plug.

There is continuity between the electrode and the spark plug wire end, but sure I guess when it was tightened up there could have been an issue.

I prefer NGK myself also, work great in everything I put them in. That'll be next after these Autolites are done.

Box says #66619, it is brand-new. It was on sale $79.99 during a sidewalk sale down from $149, and then I used a 20% off coupon on top of that.

I can verify exactly the same thing - same unit, model number, price, and it was new.

The popularity of these things is increasing. $79 is quite the deal. Even when they first came out, I don't recall them being cheaper than $99.

heck. the gen-head itself is worth that. imagine pulling the head, doing a 2:1 belt drive, and tut-tutting a 4 hp 4stroke at 1800 rpm for hours on a quart of fuel...

Bump....

These are on sale starting today for $89.95. Not sure if they'll take the additional 20% coupon but it's worth a shot.
