As you know this news came out last year. The cars were ordered back then and price agreed on. I believe available for rental at some locations already last late year. Full delivery will be complete by the end of 2022.
I suspect many rentals will be electric in the future. Hertz emerged from bankruptcy in early 2021 and this is their game plan. I think it will work well for them and the industry.
