Hengst filter with almost 10k cut open video

I cut open my Hengst filter that was on my 1998 Jetta Tdi with almost 10k on the filter. I used the new Longacre filter cutter. Makes it so much easier to open these suckers! Been using these filter for years.

Yes good eye! However I did that earlier before filming as I was trying to see how strong the pleats were.

Then it is an exceptionally nice filter, the pleat count and depth show a very large surface area.
I've always used Mann for my VW with the 1.8T, don't know if I've seen Hengst offered for that application.
