I have a Wild Thing blower that started acting bad about 2 months ago. From the start,2 summers ago, to get it to run at full speed I had to run it at half choke. Now it only runs at full choke and takes about 10 minutes to warm up and run smooth. I have changed the plug, cleaned the air filter, took apart the carb and cleaned it and put fresh gas in it. Since March I have had FP and Mobil Syn 2 cycle oil in the fuel . I also have a 2 stroke trimmer that I run the same fuel in and have no problems with. I don`t know a lot about 2 stroke engines so can you guys offer any ideas

Sounds like you need to take the carb back off, get all the gaskets you need for the carb to engine, and diapragm etc (essentially a rebuild kit) and tear it apart, soak it and blow all the holes out with air.
Also could be a air leak...., but thats easy to check, take and spray carb cleaner or brake cleaner around the seals.

Finally had the time to take the thing apart. The rubber piece under the primer bulb had fallen apart and clogged the hole under it. I will have the look for a rebuild kit. Thanks!!
