The Rear/Surround speaker of my Home Theater Carver Cinema 2 dropped from mounting stand to the floor and one of the speaker connector to connect banana plug with speaker wire from receiver into it was broken.

It may be soldered back together or may be not. I don't know exactly what it is called.

The red connector of below example is broken, is it binding post ?

The wire of the speaker is connected behind the post.

Parts-Express.com has some binding posts, I don't know what will fit. Below re some binding posts from P-E:

Do you guys have any idea which one I need to replace the broken connector/binding post ?

So the red piece is broken off completely? Also are you connecting bare wire to the binding post or is it a banana plug? I believe you could also use rca type plugs.

Not sure which one of those would fit if any. I wonder if its one size fits all..maybe email the company who made speakers and find out from them? Im interested in knowing the result. Good luck!

The Red piece broken off the speaker "Terminal Cup" completely, the other half was behind the Terminal Cup where the wire of the speaker is connected to. I use banana plug to connect to the binding post.

The speaker is Carver and I think no longer in business.
