Help me with these codes!

Morning all, had some codes pop up this morning, a few of them I'm pretty fluent with (owned Fords long enough) but a few are newer. 2003 Mustang GT, 4.6L. One code P0358, ignition coil malfunction, which is common among any 4.6 I've come across. Easy to change, no issue there. I also, however, got codes P0207 and P0208, Injector Circuit open on cylinders 6 and 7. Could this be thrown off by the ignition coils, or do I most likely need to do an injector job? Car is bone stock with 125K, so I didn't expect it to need injectors, but if so I can make it work. Should I try running Seafoam through to see if their just dirty/clogged? Thats what the AutoZone "mechanic" suggested, normally I don't give what they say a 2nd thought, just trying to save a little cash

thanks all! (Also, came up with a B1318 code, battery voltage low. I know that when the misfire started, the RPM's did drop and rise quite a bit, could it just be that the RPM's dropped too low to charge the battery temporary?)

If the code says open circuit, than it's usually electrical, either the wires, the connector or the coil in the injector is open.

autofraud beat me to it...SeaFoam won't do anything to fix electrical issues. You need to check those injectors for continuity...I don't know the exact resistance specs, but you should be able to find that online easily enough.

Either faulty injectors for cyls 7 and 8, ecm issues or the wiring to those injectors have issues. You could try comparing restance values with the other injectors or You could try swapping those injectors with other cylinders, clear the codes and see if another code is set following the injectors.

When the battery voltage drops too low, you will get all sorts of errant codes. You should fix any battery/electrical issues, clear the codes, and see if any of your codes return.

I see this all the time when cars are in the shop too long and they have a marginal battery.

Charge or replace the battery before you do anything else. It's common for a low battery to screw with electronics and throw a code.

Start at the battery and charging system as others have posted, a duff battery or charging system can cause all sorts of gremlins. Checking the Ohms on an injector will only tell you if it has a short or open nothing else, it could still be defective due to high current draw mA.
You can check the wiring and driver with a noid or test light, you can rent or buy a noid for less than $20 at AA.

Idle the car and grab the wiring harness, tug on it here and there to see if anything goes wonky.
