Help me understand this USPS delivery!

It was picked up on the 28th. And by today the 31st. It is still basically in the same area!

Are you sure the package was Priority Mail (over 14 ounces) and not First Class Mail? If it was Priority Mail, you have an automatic $50 of insurance if it's lost or damaged. And isn't Chatsworth, CA the pornography capital of the USA?

Having worked for DHL, I think I know what's going on. The package wasn't scanned at some relay point, or that data didn't make it to the server before the next scan took place. out of order scans are ignored for tracking purposes.

True story.

I bought a $1 HDMI cable (including shipping!) it shipped Saturday and I had it Monday. Try that with UPS or any other carrier.

I've always had excellent service with the USPS. Yeah their tracking page can get a little goofy sometimes,but so can anything else. I also have an awesome mail lady!! She's been on our route for years.

Looks like now it's scheduled for delivery on 4/3. So much for 1-3 day "priority delivery".
