I don't know. You still have transmission gear ratios, and you still have a final drive ratio, even when the final drive is in the transmission case. I've yet to see a car that does not. If the gear ratio is higher than 1:1, then it's OD. The overdrive term applies to the input to the final drive, if the input to the final drive is turning faster than the engine, its overdrive.
My Impala has no OD lockout button, but it does allow you to put it in 3rd, which is direct drive. My Festiva has no direct drive, which is very common now, but 4th and 5th are overdrive gears.
