Heck, you could probably find broken ones dirt cheap and just hang those up!

Sadly, I've also come to the conclusion this is what you must do. Basically, have cameras watching cameras so you have cameras showing destruction of other cameras.
Around here the sheriff couldn't care less about theft or vandalism but fire bugs may (hopefully) be treated with a greater degree of concern.
