Hey guys, I could use some help finding an automotive grade oil that will replace a mfg. supplied industrial oil which is very expensive. The oil Im trying to replace is $371 per 5 gallons and I need 10 gallons.
The oil is a sealing fluid for oil sealed liquidring vacuum pump system. These pump systems are capable of using water as the sealing fluid, so the oil does not affect wear.
Specs of the oil per mfg.:
-highly refined, hydrotreated dewaxed parrafinic oil
-low evaporation loss
Vis @ 40C ASTM D445 21.5
Vis @ 100C 4.25
VI ASTM D22270 100
Density 7.1
Pour point F/C -40/-40
Flash point F/C ASTM D92 440/226
Specific gravity ASTM D1298 0.853
Any ideas?
