It's a real thing and at times irritating. Most shirts buttoned to the top won't hide my scar...

If you're like me you know how women feel.. 😁

It's a real thing.

I had several people do it yesterday and you can see them wondering all kinds of things but they won't ask...
Sometimes with women mostly I will say, are you staring at my cleavage
and it can be real funny on how they react.

I had a guy yesterday knock on my door trying to sell me all kinds of alarm products etc. I thought it was UPS or I wouldn't have answered the door.
He actually had panic and fear in his eyes.. I have no idea what he was thinking... geez..

Just keep it covered up.

Dermabrasion?

Grow in some hair? Works to cover my cleavage.

Dang, I wish I could say something meaningful and helpful, but its not possible without "walking a mile in your shoes". I just did a Google search of the topic and the two canned answers are 1.) It's out of curiosity, not malice, and 2.) It's all about you, your self confidence. I say bull hockey. It's hurtful and problematic. Regarding the women scene, I could see it playing out numerous ways. Some might use it to adorn you with a false sense of feeling sorry. The very hot, but shallow ones will be out of reach. Of course anyone worth anything won't be a problem.

Hang in there dude. Share with us what you figure out. It will help us also. I have a feeling that your loving, glowing personality will win in most situations!

I have a facial scar from childhood removal of a bronchial cyst. It stretches from bottom of ear down to my throat. When people ask about it, I just tell them I was in a knife fight when I was a kid, and the other person didn’t fare so well. The looks are priceless. I look at it as it’s a part of me. So I try to look at it humorously and joke accordingly about it. It stopped bothering me many years ago when I started making jokes about it.

Thank you guys.
I brought it up because yesterday it seems as if everyone did it.

At first you think you have a stain or tear on your shirt and then you see them trying to get on their tippy toes to see how far it goes...

I did help some people. A really nice lady at Seagate Homes in PC Florida was giving me a house tour and I hit her with the cleavage line. She was embarrassed and I told her I was joking... she goes on to tell me her husband had it 3 weeks ago ( surgery) and he is afraid to move because he is afraid his heart will blow up... many fear that..

I called him from the model home and told him all he needed to know to calm his fears.. we all became good friends.

After my surgery I had to do the doctor rounds and my general doc was the same age as me and he really freaked out and went into fear mode.. you wouldn't think it would effect a doctor like that...

How old is the scar? If it is still newish...maybe you can help with some vaseline...maybe it will improve with time...could take months to heal. Maybe cover with band aid when going out in public?
