if you've got Younglings, the $9.99 "Zoo-it-all" wristbands are well worth it. they pay for themselves very Quickly. without the bands, you have to buy tickets for the individual rides.
Pony Ride - $4

StingRay Bay - $2 (you can Pet Stingrays, and for another $2, you can hand Feed them)
all the rides @ jungle jack's Landing? I dunno, had wristband both days, but @ least $1 per Ticket Per Ride.
If you are Soda Drinker (they serve Pepsi Products) do yourself a favor and get the $9.99 Souvenir Cup. it Gets you $.94($1 w/ Tax) Refills the Rest of this Season.
(there is also an Insulated Souvenir Cup For $19.99, and it gets you Free Refills)
Otherwise a Small Soda is like $2.79, or $3 from the vending machines.

pack a Picnic Lunch, there is a nice somewhat shaded Picnic area across from the Entrance to Asia,to the Right along side the central pond, just a Short ways inside the main gate.
you may have to deal with the nuisance Geese there Though.
(There Needs to be an open Season on Canada Geese in Central Ohio.)
I was there from about 10-11a to Close (7pm) both days, still didn't see everything.
Both Times Neither of the Polar Bears were in the Water, but to get an Idea of what it looks like when they are, here's a Picture "Jungle Jack" Hanna Posted to Twitter back in July, When they Closed the exhibit 2 hrs early b/c a certain male "Pop Star" wanted to see the polar bears before his Columbus Concert that night...
Story about said Closure From the Columbus Dispatch:
Public growls after Bieber visits Columbus Zoo’s polar bears
Tall Paul - Did they have Live Fish swimming in the Enclosure as well? Columbus Does. (I forget what was in the Polar Bear's Tank...maybe Trout?)
and the Brown Bears had Bluegills, and ...possibly Salmon, maybe they were Trout.. in their "stream" Tank.
I never timed it right to see an official Feeding.
