How good is havoline high mileage oil, I saw it in walmart today for $14.97 for a 5 quart jug,, is it a syn.blend..

So far it works as well as pennzoil high mileage in my son's saturn. Have no uoa though.
Havoline oil sales have spiraled downward over the years. I think the oil would work great in an application that would benefit from a high mileage oil. It's priced cheap because Wal-Mart isn't making much on it and Havoline's declining brand recognition cant command retailers to buy at Castrol like wholesale price levels.
Wish we had it in the midwest. It would come in at the same price as ST HM, and 1.00 less than MS5K HM.
They do not even stock Havoline of any type at my local Wally Worlds in these parts of Pa. I have the Havoline Full Synthetic 5-30 from Advance Autos deal acouple months back with a P1 filter for 19.99. Im running the oil right now & am very pleased with it.
