Havoline high mileage

Picked up 2 jugs of Havoline High Mileage oil at Wallyworld yesterday. With the 2 dollar discount tag on them it ended up to 11.24 a jug. First time I've spotted the Havoline HM in the red jug at Walmart. Put it in my Rav to see if there is a difference in the oil consumption since I replaced the PCV valve and have been using VML. I also noticed they are now stocking VML synthetic. Never saw that before either. Wonder if there were consumers requesting these and that's why they stock them now or what!! Anybody else notice these on the shelves?

No, haven't seen any Havoline products at W*M in a couple of years. Prior to the Christman/New Year Holidays, a brand new W*M Super Store opened up in my area. No Havoline oil(s) at all there either and I was just there the other day.

I did notice that the 5qt jug of QS DEFY(HM) states that it's Syn/Blend on the jug, as compared to the 5qt jug that I bought in the Spring of '12 for my 1980 Firebird FORMULA. IDK if the QS DEFY has always been Syn/Blend?

Our Walmarts do stock the regular Havoline up here, but this the first time I have seen the High Mileage jug on the shelf and also VML full synthetic on the shelf. I think it's great and I expect them to be gobbled up fast. I've used regular Havoline for years. I changed the PCV valve in my Rav and have been using VML to see if the oil consumption would be taken care of and it did for the most part so now I'm going to try the HHM oil to see if it goes back to using oil as before.

Most HMs are syn blends with a few expections. DEFY is one of the blends. Good stuff!

Although I did get a pretty good score on Havoline DS from AAP awhile ago. It's SN/GF-5 and I believe my OTD price was qt. Not bad for todays pricing!

The local Walmart here still has them with the $2.00 off coupons attached. So I picked up 3. Coupon is good till 31 Dec 2013.

I just put the red bottle havoline hm in my son's saturn, we will see how it does.
