My company car includes gas and personal use. It offsets my wife's 20mpg Stinger that drinks super, although she takes mine when I work at home.
Combining more trips ... something I've always done but now I'm more thoughtful about it. For example, now I might postpone a trip for a day or two in order to combine it with something planned later in the week. Fortunately, most of the time I have the ability (luxury?) of scheduling most everything to my advantage and convenience.Have gas prices changed your driving habits yet? Making less trips? Driving slower? Buying/using a different vehicle?
No changes here - drive 75 miles highway per day to and from work, already drive at the limit bc of a speeding ticket, and rarely go out when not working, just keep myself busy at home.
Still makes $$$ sense to keep the job, and can’t afford a new/different car, so will just keep keepin’ on…how about you?
What's the mileage difference between the two?Somewhat. If I have a choice between driving my Prius vs. the Ram, I am now more inclined to drive the Prius.
Sounds like you're just about at the bare minimum. Not too long ago a few people laughed at me for suggesting more people buy bikes to get around if they don't have to go too far. Current gas prices might start making that more attractive for some people. We both work from home, everything is a mile or two from the house...we only drive 250 miles a month on average. I'm all for conservation but there aren't many things we can change in order to try and save.
The truck averages 15-20 depending on the driving conditions. What's the mileage difference between the two?
