yes and it is very nice. i was there in 93 and in 95. people there even noticed my french canadian accent when i was talking english and they started talking to me in french. europe is awesome. i have lived there for close to a year and a half. been to ireland, belgium, germany, switzerland, norway, france, italy, croatia, serbia and bosnia. i am planning to go back at the end of summer. i want to go an entire month in sweden. i will rent a car and drive the entire country. i could certainly live in switzerland easily. as both the languages i speak are spoken regularly by pretty much everyone. the standard of living is very high. in the top 10. extremely safe and very beautiful country.

I used to spend a lot of time in Switzerland and had an apartment in Kloten, a suburb of Zurich. Switzerland is a gorgeous country with the blessing of natural beauty but there's no way I'd ever consider taking up permanent residence there. The reason is because of politics so I won't go into details but let me just say that a lot of things we take for granted are not permitted in the Confederation of Helvetica (CH). When you see a cop on his knees reading the sidewall writing of a car tire you realize that we're literally not in Kansas any longer.

I think one of our Mods has been to Switzerland but I dont want to officially volunteer that information lol.

They also have an incredibly strict immigration policy so even if you did want to in fact move there as a permanent resident, enjoy the process you'll have to go through

I have one of those.. would you like to see, the next time maybe you want a filter with partial HPL @High Performance Lubricants oil fill? I'm running some kind of funky brew lol. I just know I top off with HPL..

When I lived in España I met a couple of very simpatico Swiss fräulein tourists and had a great time with them. So in a way I've experienced and seen the beauty and thrills of that alpine country.

Europe has always had the US beat on that regards. As we catch up, they will probably move further ahead.
