Have old VSOT use,throw out? Dosage?

Hi all! I have like 6 small containers of VSOT I bought from local napa around 2005/06. I read it fell out of suspension one user 2006 post,another said it thickened the oil,it's got a lot of zinc ( not good catalytic converter), and recommended dosage was 2 ozs per quart( member used 1.5 ozs per quart).
Its been sitting in. Valvoline box in my closet since 2005/06. Use it,it is it no good now?

But it's dosage...15 oz containers.one member said old old post now, VSOT at 15 ozs is ok for 10 quart sump. Not too use so much in a 4-6 quart sump..recommended 2 ozs maximum VSOT per quart of oil.

This is the over ripe banana dilemma. No real use, not hungry, might taste bad, but I already paid for it so I should use it. Sunk cost items for which the purpose has expired cost nothing to throw away. Its an uncomfortable idea to embrace, but liberating.

Don’t waste it; it’s good stuff. Just put a bottle on with an oil change to get the use out of it.

You can 1. Ask Valvoline. 2. Inspect for settling, and smell for strong varnish odor. 3. Shake it up and see if it is uniform.

Sitting indoors it should be perfectly fine. I would use as directed.

It's fine to use after shaken well.
I used the whole bottle in five quart sumps many-many times. I miss this stuff.

Shake it up, use a little at a time mixing it in with make up oil, at an oil change, and/or with OPE a little at a time. Sooner or later you'll use it up.
