I know you have to keep the greases of the same type when adding new grease.
Have a few questions. This is for my boat and boat trailer, and I have been using Pennzoil marine grease, NLGI #2. So can I mix anything that is stamped with NLGI #2 on it safely? I had to use a little bit of the supertech marine grease, and also have some stuff called "Mystic" #2 that I picked up on clearance at Walmart. Is it ok to mix that in too?
Then I notice that lucas makes a red and tacky #2 grease that is supposed to be really good agianst water and was wondering if that is better and compatible (this is red and my other marine greases have been green or clear). AM I lookign at the correct specs for grease or is their something else I need to look for when picking the correct grease
