Last week, first real snow-fall for the season in South Western Ontario. We had wet snow and flurries before that but nothing stuck.

This week it's all gone but it's frigid today. -13c (8.6F) was this mornings temperature.

In Silicon Valley we got some rain yesterday; it cleared the skies of smoke and particulate matter.
Particulate matter contains metals, plastics, chemicals and other bad stuff...
A huge blessing.
Should rain again tomorrow.
The Paradise fire is 200 miles north.
This is the 1st day we have had acceptable air quality.

Seems winters a little early here too.
7 inches of snow last week, can't remember getting that much before Thanksgiving, and it got down to 12F this morning.Colder than normal here.
Tonight there forecasting a low of 4F.

Yep, Down to 45* in the morning. I have to put a jacket on for the first few hours of the day.
Got a little rain last night.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing. I enjoy looking at scenes of snow and snowing. That said, glad I don't have to deal with it and all it entails. Once upon a time, but no more. Been relatively cool-ish recently for this time of year but still got to mid 50s today.

This is what greeted me last Thurday afternoon.

First snow and it was a doozy! Mix of snow and ice, I literally got stuck in my own driveway, lol. Left work this morning at 7am and it was 20*, was closer to 15* going up the mountain. Call me crazy, but I'm ready for Summer again!

I really do appreciate seeing the domestic snow scenes shared here.

It's high 40s and raining here (Cascade foothills outside Seattle). I would trade it for mid 20s and snow in a heart beat. I used to live in New England, even worked as a skier (patrol) a few years outside on a mountain all winter. I miss it quite a bit. While snow can be a hassle, it is beautiful, peaceful, and a cycle of nature that enriches your appreciation of life.

Cold and on nov 15 had about 10in of snow and now its only in the teens and im not even in the north being in Connecticut.ugh gonna be a long winter i think

Darn Adam, we didnt get any snow, sleet and then pouring rain

Brother up in Boiling Springs got 11.5" snow and some ice

Just one freeze so far ... only covered the Bird of Paradise ... lots of dead looking stuff that normally comes back in the spring ... like about 45F so I can burn a bit of oak ... love the smell ...

Just got back from WRJ,VT. 12 degrees the whole way, there and back. Hit 1/2 inch of black ice for ~3 miles on the way out, trees overhead kept the sun from ever hitting the road and it was too cold for salt to work well.

Guess I'm glad I hosed it down with Fluid Film two weeks ago.
