Has anyone seen this Citizen Blue Angel Flight Watch for $49?

It appears to be an unlicensed, made in China garbage watch probably worth about $10. Just look at the poor grammar and misspelled words in the watch description as you scroll through the right column. Kind of like the stuff you see on the TEMU site.

what are the "Swiss Blue Angels"???...the watch is Japanese (the real one is anyway) and the flight team is American...I'd go with scam...

Good luck with your choice

Bill

Nothing about that says, “Citizen” - nowhere in the ad, or on the watch itself - it’s a complete knock off of a good watch.

Hmmm...maybe this endless internet flow of cheap goods and scam items will begin to move people to eschew what I call, "bad consumerism"?
Seriously, if enough purchases sting, wouldn't people wise up?

I'm feeling kind of hopeful and wholesome this holiday system. Maybe people will free themselves...if only a bit.

Yeah, I have a pretty nice Citizen - whilst they don’t cost what a Tag does - you don’t get them that cheap …

It does show a CITIZEN "Eco-Drive" watch on several of the photos of the blue dial watch, including this snippet from the video embedded in the ad. Obviously it is a cheap knock-off of the real watch.

I notice in every pic but one. The hands cover the citizen.
You might get a sitizen.
Scam.

Yeah, same here, MULITPLE Chinese sites selling this $600 for pennies. I noticed when I click the site, the photo jumps from not having the Citizen name on it to having it.
Obviously a fake Im sure the photo below of the real product is being used in the ad in many cases, no different than cheap Rolex watches *LOL* sold on the streets of NYC

and here yet another site with my Citizen name on it.

The hands on both watches in the same exact position

Here is the Citizen website for this watch
https://www.citizenwatch.com/us/en/product/AT8020-54L.html?cgid=blue-angels

BTW it is SUPER EASY TO TELL THE FIRST TWO WATCHES ARE FAKE, HOW?
Side by side, 1st a photo from the official Citizen Watch Website shows a completely DIFFERENT face texture.
Zoom in and you will see circles on the small dials of the 12:00 and 9:00 position on the real watch, the fakes have no circles on the watch face, its just flat.

1st from the official website

A "nice" $10 watch. The metals are cheap, the printing is fuzzy and the band is sharp tinfoil.
It is quartz and will keep accurate time untill the battery dies.

Hurry up fellas, might not last to 12PM (11:54AM now).

"Only 200 left in stock, buy now and get free shipping. Don't miss out, grab it now!"

Citizen assembles watches in China. I believe they only use 100% made in Japan Miyota movements regardless of where the watch gets final assembly. I saw a video of one of these and the closeups of the dial only say "Japan Movement". I couldn't see anything else about where it's assembled.

It's actually pretty easy to just buy a quality movement and slap it in a crappy case. And it will probably keep time just fine even if the rest of watch is junk.

Scam.

There are plenty of red flags here, but that isn't one of them.

It's customary for watch sales beauty shots to be taken with the time at 10:10, regardless of what may or may not be hidden by the hands in that position.
