WE are eating in about an hour. Been helping the GF all day. Got to do all the $hit jobs. Peeling taters, mixing the stuffing ect.

And carve the bird.

As Patman mentioned, we had our Thanksgiving a month ago. To me our date for this holiday makes a whole lot more sense.Your Thanksgiving is way too close to Christmas. You take all this time and trouble now and then do it all over again in another month. At least with our TG holiday being in October, we forget how much our relatives irritate us by the time Christmas rolls around.
 
Holy turkey, or steak actually, we had steaks to lessen the work load. Still a royal pain in the tush with everything else! I'm pooped.

My thanksgiving dinner consisted of going to a White Castle. Nothing else was open and I wasn't invited anywhere


It was that awful.
