Man it's getting crazy around here already with the fireworks...sounds like a war-zone. Last night was the worse... sounded like somebody was shooting artillery at the house.

Of course all you Michiganders know that legislation was passed this past winter to "make it legal to sell and use more powerful explosives such as firecrackers and some consumer-grade devices that shoot into the air, such as bottle rockets and Roman candles."
The reason? ""With the signing of these bills today, it places Michigan on an equal playing field and generates much-needed revenue and jobs to our state,"
I have in-laws that live in Baja. Fireworks are for New Years, Christmas, 4th of July, 16th of September, a Mexico win in Soccer, May 1st, November 20th, and May 10th. I think I covered them all.
When I was a kid I would set off firecrackers all summer long. I would unravel each firecracker from the packs and put them in a coffee can then use a "punk" to light each firecracker and throw it in the air for maximum effect lol. You had to be fast, as sometimes a fast burning wick and the firecracker would go off in your hand.
It's funny how things that were fun as a kid would get annoying fast to you as an adult.
