I doubt it, less than 100,000 to as little as 10,000 world wide affected, Drug companies would never make a profit and for what reason?
Though the media will never emphasize that point. Maybe they do? I dont pay much attention. The virus has been known to be around for over 50 years.
 
Watching one of the Sunday shows yesterday, the infectious disease expert they had on was pretty clear human to human transmission is near impossible, this virus is spread by rodent feces and urine - rats and mice.

Seems it’s rather common in the SW USA

any old sheds…out buildings that give refuge to rodents

Prairie dogs are very well known to carry the ‘Plague’

Which will wipe out colonies of the dogs

Along with transmitting the disease to humans..

Especially while handling the carcasses of the varmint

Yes…some shooters will handle dead ones for photo ops….

Not very smart…..

Rabits are biggest issue here when it comes to plague.
This is good reminder not to kill rattlesnakes just because.
 
I really hope they get this under control. Not very confident in Dr. Oz and RFK. Both have "quackish" tendencies.

If RFK starts telling people to bathe in pond water we're doomed.

I'm hearing now they aren't quite sure how transmissible it is.
 
Apparently the rats/mice around here don't carry Hantavirus, and it doesn't look like there has ever been a recorded case in AL, so I'm not worried about it on a personal level. Also it seems that it takes very close contact to spread person to person, so I don't expect this current episode to spread much more than it has.

Depending on the .gov to protect you from disease is like using a fishing net for a condom.
 
With the NYC subway system being a disgusting rat infested mess, with some rats the size of small cats, you'd think with all the commuters who use it daily Hantavirus would be a major problem for NY'ers.
 
If it has a 50% mortality rate then it won't spread much, the host will be dead before they can transmit it.

Dr. Oz is questionable and RFK isn't even a doctor! 🤪 But he is doing some good in some areas.

BTW, all the vaccine doom and gloom folks were wrong. It's working well in many other areas too.

Yep. Who knows the agenda of the previous quacks.......but it was NOT for the good of you and I.

Talk to the folks (my wife) with heart wall thickening and such about that. No more forced shut downs and no more forced vaccines! (no I am NOT against vaccines in principle and the fact I have to write this say enough)
