Hantavirus

No, not Covid 19
Corona viruses affect animals and humans since the beginning of time. It's the strain that defines it. Covid 19 was most likely developed in a lab, however no conclusive evidence exists. However for this statement no matter where it came from, there is no link to live stock.
The common cold is a corona virus too.

Won’t get into the lab theory, but the common cold can be different viruses. It’s most rhinoviruses.

The news channels will hype it up as much as possible so you stay glued to the 24 hour/day news cycle then they can raise ad revenue. Try to be educated not afraid.
I’m glad other people in this country realize that.
Because the majority turn on the news as entertainment. 24/7 they listen to the misery in the world. Then they think life is hard and it’s someone else’s fault for their shortcomings.

It’s really an unbelievable phenomenon taking place. Sadly, our enemies have the formula and the people of this country are constantly being conditioned by them

I don’t think there’s enough of us to realize that and I’m glad in 30 years I won’t be on this earth to see the outcome

That, and living under the constant threat of contracting explosive diarrhea from the "cook" in the galley. Who stirs the creamed corn in a 55 gallon drum with a canoe paddle. :p
Floating Petri dishes. Have zero desire to go on the typical cruise. I will, however, do a Viking River cruise or similar high end river cruise...I like the Danube ones. 7-10 days max.

We've never done a real mega ship and the small ship experience is much nicer than the large ship one, but every cruise is enjoyable in our experience.
A restful and easy to plan vacation.

You went two whole weeks without BITOG?!! 😎

Left the house on 4/15, attended a play at Cincinnati Shakespeare Co that evening, stayed overnight at a hotel near the airport where we left the car, flew the following day to SJU, embarked our ship 4/19, visited Funchal and then four Spanish ports before landing at Barcelona on 5/3 and stayed in Barcelona until flying home via ORD on 5/8, so a bit more than two whole weeks.
Great trip and we finally got to fly in a 787. Nice big windows that the cabin crew dimmed shortly after we leveled off unfortunately.

I'm still waiting for the media to report a dead body laying the street from covid. And I mean anywhere in the United States.

I always thought the word "pandemic" meant dead bodies laying in the streets.

I'm seriously surprised that CNN didn't try to fake a dead body.

There is a big difference between dying WITH covid, than dying FROM Covid. When hospitals are paid, (bribed), well into 5 digits per person to put something on the death certificate, is anyone foolish enough to trust the massive number created by it as the gospel truth?

It’s a variant of “poverty porn”.

I will never understand need to be locked up with 5000 people on the ship and pay for it.
I’m not a cruise kind of person either but I can see the appeal. For the same price (or less) as you pay to spend a week in one destination, you can get the chance to visit 5 or 6 different destinations. Being stuck on the boat in a tiny room in between destinations is the sucky part but getting off the boat every day in a new place sounds pretty good to me

That is IMO the worst part. Few hours off the boat. What exactly will you see and understand about culture etc?
I always tell friends when going to Paris etc.: don’t go with plan to see everything! Go with plan to wake up, go to local coffee shop, check people out, go to one place to visit, get nice lunch to sit and enjoy the moment.
Then come back again if you like it and visit stuff you did not, but don’t miss that part of slowing down, drinking coffee for an hour, and just strolling streets.
Jumping from one place to another for few hours? If someone asked me where have you been, I wouldn’t know what to say.

It gives you a few hours to explore and then after seeing several different places you can pick which one you liked best and do a full week there.

As I mentioned, I’m not a cruise person but I can see the appeal of getting to visit many different places in one trip. And some people don’t want to fully explore one area but would rather just have a quick visit.
