Anybody play Halo?...I was pretty into Halo 2...Buddies and I would play online all hours of the day and night when we were snowed in....Halo 3 should be out on the 25th...You know I dunno...but the billion dollar video game industry wouldn't be what it is if there weren't so many apartment buildings...Young People boarded up in the Winter...only leaving to go to work and back home...Halo sure beat cabin fever...I guess Winter is coming...I wonder what people used to do in the Winter before Internet and video games...or even before television...sit around and knit!...
We need a Bitog Halo Team!...we'd be really slick us oil guys...

I got part way through Halo 2. Halo 1 was pretty good.

Can you play 3 on the X-Box, or is it 360 only ?

Nah its only on 360. Ive got mine pre-ordered at Gamestop. Might be a little late for my classes that day.

Iplayed Halo 2 for 11 hours on Sunday with my 10 year old, its addictive and you lose track of time. Xbox 360 and Halo 3 will be on the list to Santa, Iam sure.

...I've got to get an XBOX 360...I think they are overpriced but I heard Microsoft was selling them at a loss...can't justify the cost just yet...but I see myself biting the bullet soon...just for Halo 3...

halo 2 sucked compared to halo 1.. i just hope halo 3 is better than halo 2..the weapons on hale 2 were just ---- horrible.. who wants alien weapons? i dunno i am old fashioned, i like to hear the ching ching ching as my empty shell casings hit the ---- ground... YYEEEEAHH!!! bring it ----!!

I love Halo2. Play it online all the time. Teenage son tells me that I should also play other games. Got my version of Halo3 reserved at gamestop also.

I still play Halo 2 online once in a while, fun to play online with guests when I have friends over too. Hopefully gonna get Halo 3 soon

Haven't reserved it yet, but I'll get it eventually.

Yeah, the 360 was quite a joke. I purchased mine last July or August (can't remember exactly) and the first system was defective. Kept giving me disc read errors all the time. Sent it back to Microsoft, and got another console. That one had the same issue, along with a really buzzy DVD drive. Sent that one back, and got my 3rd console which -knocks on wood- is working great. 3rd time's a charm I guess?

Your absolutely right, they are complete junk. Im on my 3rd one right now, I'm still waiting for it to come back from Microsoft. So it looks like Im gonna miss playing halo 3 on opening day.

Ha- I just but another (regular) Xbox off of Craigslist so my kid and I can system link and blow the heck out of each other. I still have to get an HDTV before I get a 360. We still play co-op on Halo and Halo2.

i pretty much quit gaming when they stopped making games for my ps2. that was my main way to game. i had the network card pack so i could hook up to my computer network and go online to play.
modern consoled like the 360, ps3, wtc are too expensive for me. i just cant see shelling out money on a console, plug a few controllers, plug a few games that adds up to $500 or more.
so ive redused myself to an occasional game on the playstation. supprisingly a large number of people still ose the ps2 online, so i can get my game on whenever i get the urge to.
perhaps in a year or so when the ps3 and xbox are half of what they cost now and come in slim versions, ill consider picking up one, used, from a pawn shop and selling my ps2 on ebay.

Game systems have always been expensive when they came out... remember the Sega Saturn? I seem to remember that system being over $400 when it first came out. The N64 I believe was $300 when it came out. PS2 was $300 new. Nintendo Wii is only $250 new (a great deal in my opinion).

the wii is a neat idea but weak in implementation. i have played it before. the remote is really cool. however! they have tonnes of games for it, but a large majority of them are just stupid games. like who can hammer a nail into a piece of wood the quickest, who can watch paint dry faster. who can cut logs in half with a hand saw quickest.
those are real games for the wii, and thats weak. you can tell alot of wii games are just filler. some of the games are really good. but alot of them are just filler.
