H3 LED "bulb"

Anyone have any experience finding decent H3 LED bulbs?

I'll head off the obvious; No, these are not for driving, that end of the truck has Hella E-codes and stock wattage all weather bulbs.

I have a vintage H3 work light on one of my old toys that I use for fun w/ the kids, camping, fishing, etc. I am more interested in low current draw w/ extended use and I do not need the H3's illumination.

I know most of what's out there looks pretty cheesy, but was hoping someone stumbled across something halfway decent.

I haven't, but then I really haven't looked that hard for that format. If some of the "cheesy" stuff is cheap enough, I'd just give it a try. Especially in that application where the output isn't as critical.

Beware, thermal management on those types of bulbs is sorely lacking. But this may be acceptable for inconsistent usage

While interesting
those look like they would create hidious glare.

I cant imagine the glare if someone used them in a regular halogen reflector fixture as headlights.

None of those LED "bulbs" will provide even close to compliant lighting when installed in a headlamp.
