Group 31 AGM Deep Cycle

I think this is the right place to put this.

Anyone has any experience with this battery? Can't figure out the manufacturer with some moderate searching.

Looking at the Group 31 size.

This is "readily accessible" at a Cabela's near work with ship to store. I do like the looks of the Duracell Ultra AGM Deep Cycle

However, it's a little bit of a drive (an hour) to a Batteries Plus store. Any warranty would be easier on the Bass Pro battery, assuming stock.

I don't know who makes the FCA batteries at Menards, but I have 2 group 31's in our Coach House camper seem to be holding up after 2 years.

Based on my searching it looks like both. The benefits to the Duracell is if you are traveling the odds your are closer to a Sam's Club than anything else. So finding a replacement away from home would be easier.

I’ve had the batteries plus group 31 AGM deep cycle. It is one of the two best deep cycles I’ve owned. It put up with a lot of abuse and never seemed to lose its breath or depth. Had it in a TT which I used as my work-from-home office for 2+ years during COVID. PV on top, laptop, inverter, lamp and LP furnace all in play. It had to go deep during cloudy weeks. The battery was worth it.

The other best-experience was a flooded odyssey I had back around 2000. It was remarkably resilient to abuse.

The flooded Duracell I had, and the flooded deep cycle from Walmart were not nearly as good - that Duracell AGM group 31 is in a different league.

West Marine and NAPA sell the same battery. An East Penn AGM battery would seem to be a top battery.
