Does anyone have info on what group 3 base oils there are out there, and what processes are used to generate them? it seems like there are a lot - Shells 'slack wax(?)' 'XHVI' bases;, Petro-Cans Super-hydrocracked "purity process" bases; the Korean-made group 3's in Conoco synthetic blends...Does anyone have a listing of how many there are, and which one(s) are best.....
I know add packs have a lot to do with how good a final oil is, I'm just trying to get my head around how many types of group 3 base oils and processes there are, and which ones can be considered 'best'....
