Hello to all on BITOG - long time lurker, first time poster.
My name is Robert. I've been lurking for several years now and finally got around to joining. Why I didn't in the past is beyond me, but I figured I have nothing to loose and a lot to gain by joining.
I work in the GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Industry and am a Repair Tech on Commercial GPS / Dataloggers.
Although not related to the oil industry, I also have a great interest in lubricants and am a Motorcycle / Large Scooter rider. I currently ride a Honda Helix and have a couple of smaller project bikes in the shed as well. I have tended to lean more toward scooters lately since my double-hernia operation back in April. With them being smaller and lighter I have to strain less getting them in and out of the shed; although I have less interest in the 50cc models.
Anyway, it's great to be here and I hope to learn even more and maybe contribute some of my knowledge as well.
