Alright, so I got meself a grease gun, rubber flex hose (intended for grease use) as well as a needle to inject the grease into the rubber boots of the ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar end links etc.

After I assembled everything, I noticed a tricle of grease oozing out of several screw-on points b/t the grease gun, and the needle. I then attempted to tighten all the fittings with a set of pliers. All worked well after this, but when I tried to inject the grease too quickly, little bits of grease started coming out of the fittings (b/t the gun and the needle). So I tried slowing down the rate at which i inject th grease and this helped. I injected about 1/2 a squeeze per joint on the car.

Is this normal? should it take me this long to inject the grease into the fittings? Or should I just tighten the heck out of these fittings for furture use?

Thanks in Advance!!!

no, it's not cross threaded, but I think that just tightning the needle up should help out the problem.
But still, is it supposed to take a while to grease the fittings considering the grease is being compressed thru such a tight fitting??

thanks guys, I'm still an amature at this stuff, but at least I have the right fluids and tools for the job
