Grease for needle bearings, very confused...

TRC Paragon is a excellent grease, though pricy,,Mystik JT-6, 220 synthetics would be a great choice at a lower price and will also work, both are apparently lithium complex greases so compatibility no problem, however make sure when regreasing to properly clean out old and consider new seals too. there are many good general purpose greases to use if wanted that will work as ,Aluminium complex and Calcium based etc ,I can't see 350f temps in a swing arm, unless something is binding or too tight.?
That's my thought too which is why I figured going for lithium was smart. I believe the manufacturer of my bike uses lithium complex and I used an aluminum complex grease which I'm realizing may have caused some of this headache... I did clean out everything out but there is always a chance. I'll have to take a look at that mystik 220. The Paragon as you said is extremely expensive and most likely not worth 2x the cost.
From what the driveshaft shop tells me these small needle bearing like a not too heavy lithium based grease and no moly, they use Mobil 1 (red) exclusively. Swing arm bearings are very low rpm but high load, I have also had good results with Mobilux EP 1.

That makes a lot of sense. My assumption for thinner grease is due to the ability for it to properly spread and lubricate versus thick which may stick well but won't migrate? I'll have to take a look at those products too. I think I've got a good idea now. Something in the ballpark of what you mentioned, mystik 220, Paragon 3000, etc. all seem to be good quality lithium complex greases.

Thanks everyone, Velcro

P.S if anyone else has an opinion on this please do share. I'm always curious to hear what people have to say, haha.
