Trying to get grease into a few grease fittings but they won't take grease. Decided to remove them but lo and behold, they are pressed in. What in the world do I do now? Heat 'em up and try again?

You can heat the area with a hot air gun. Also you can use a zerk zapper or equivalent and inject some solvent.

We have a winner! Jethro_Bob!!!!

HooRay! I went in and tried my other grease gun and the grease went in like room temp butter.

Now I gotta figure out which end is which? The Lumax works but the Lincoln doesn't. Do you know
which tips come on each of those?

BUT tonight....Jethro_Bob truly solved my problem on all my other vehicles. I've been replacing zerks.
What an ignorant idiot...

Going to Harbor Freight and get me a Holt grease gun tomorrow.

2nd time is the charm....

I never knew their was a difference as far as the gun fitting on certain ones. I knew their was standard and metric though. I thought it was just like bolts where one takes a standard wrench or socket and the other takes metric.
