Tagging has been getting worse now that the police are helpless and nobody gets prosecuted.

They got the emergency helicopter Saturday night.

Scum...

I see this on trains a lot, since there are tracks that run parallel to my route to work. What does any of it even mean? Most of it looks like unintelligible drivel. I will admit though, I have seen some funny ones. There are a few good artists in the bunch. But tagging a med flight chopper is a horrible idea.

That should be reported to the FAA. Can that helicopter be considered flightworthy after being vandalized in such a fashion?

It will continue until there is restitution from the criminals. Make them work to pay the cost of repairs. I don't see that happening however in our future.

I used to take care of 30-40 facilities.

The way to combat these people is to paint over/remove the graffiti as soon as possible.
I would drop almost any other job to cover it....same day if possible.

The thrill for them is their friends seeing it... I prevented that and all they had was wasted effort.
They would move on to the next building.

Despicable...

Someone had sent this to me long ago (sanitized for BITOG).

I’ve seen some absolute works of art on train cars, those guys go out of their way to avoid markings or take it a step further and I’ve seen them “highlight” the markings with a brightly colored border.

And then you get garbage like this… I hope they find who vandalized that helicopter and they have to pay to fix it. $$$$$

That's just disrespectful...but I've seen some cool ones on abandoned buildings. Taking the metra west out of Union Station in Chicago, there's one with Bender from Futurama saying "winter is coming"
