If I didn't get picked up I was going to put in an enlisted application for MA Mobile Unit to ultimately apply for FBI HRT. My number one goal in life is making a difference in situations where few people are willing to place themselves. If I can help just one person and if I can make this world even just 1% safer than I will have achieved my goal.

Awesome Shellback and traveler of the Realm of the Golden Dragon shall bestoweth upon thee ONE bit of unasked for advice.

Sea sickness.

Some folks suffered a little to a lot.

Most adapted to the typical motion atop the oceanic lotion but even many of the most grizzled old salts were near-incapacitated when battering through the barrage a full-blown typhoon tossed at a puny destroyer escort.

But, not I.

I was one of a dozen or so out of 248 crew that was mostly impervious to that typhoon's effects upon body, soul and mind.

And of that dozen half were queasy but could function.

It was a mere half-dozen or so of us that ate full meals and functioned at 100% capacity.

"How did you do it, Obbop?" I can envision the local human horde bellowing aloud.

Well, I had already attained my "sea legs" but even the first trip upon the ocean was void of full-blown sea sickness. A little queasy but a few saltine crackers and water and soon I was an "old salt."

When that typhoon hit I used the "mind over matter" ploy.

I asked myself, "Self, how can you even think of getting sick in the midst of all this excitement?"

I mentally told myself that there was no way I was going to allow myself to feel anything related to sea sickness.

And, it worked!!!!!!!

Not that there is anything wrong with undergoing sea sickness but if you can avoid it via the power of your mind... that is groovy.

Good luck!!!!!!!
