Got my Lyriq back after some warranty work

My 2025 Lyriq was in the shop for a week:

- Replaced HVAC case to fix water dripping into the front passenger footwell. The factory plastic casting was defective; there's a TSB out for this. Seemed like a big job. According to the paperwork, they removed the dash, replaced the case, replaced / removed (?) the evaporator and evacuated & recharged the R1234yf refrigerant.

- Replaced the NFC reader on the driver's door because the key card randomly stopped working. Paperwork says they first tried replacing the key and reprogramming the module, to no avail. Now everything works. Nice to slip the key card into my wallet and to not have to carry the FOB around. Cadillac still doesn't offer the ability to use your phone as a key like Tesla. Maybe they will before my lease is up in Dec 2026, but I'm not holding my breathe!

- Free 7,500 mile tire rotation. They also did various telematics & radio updates, I presume since the car was in for service anyway.

This was my first experience with Cadillac service and it was excellent. My dealer immediately provided a Lyriq loaner (actually, two; had to return the first one after one day because a customer purchased it). They called every couple of days for progress updates and returned my car washed and charged up. Can't really ask for anything more(y).

On my 2nd Ultium EV. Wrecked the first one. Both solid. Would 100% recommend. The person above who mentioned Blazer EV SS - yes, get one! I’d love one. Too bad it doesn’t have self driving and is too expensive for my budget.

Prologue had a few little bugs but the Equinox EV has been flawless minus a little rubber thing sticking out from where the dash and windshield meet, and the lack of CarPlay.

Prologue was a lease, but Equinox was a purchase… my ex drives almost 30K miles/year so leasing wouldn’t work. Aiming to make it to 200K miles. I’ll definitely report back if anything goes wrong but I’ve had 4 GM EVs - I trust them. Biggest concern is $1500 set of tires. Why does a vehicle need 21” wheels!

thinking of buying a Blazer SS. anecdotes like these are not helping, lmao.
I've put 22,000 miles on my Blazer RS RWD in 11 months. No issues yet apart from infotainment stuff, like losing audio after using Google voice prompts. I wish I could have waited for the SS. The RWD acceleration is adequate, but l'd prefer something closer to low 12s in the 1/4 mile.
